The Anatomy of a Portrait with Nicola Jackson

$5.00

Join artist Nicola Jackson for a masterclass exploring techniques and influences in her approach to portraiture. Nicola uses paper mâché, anatomical illustrations and vibrant colours to create unique and identifiable works. In this masterclass Nicola will teach us more about anatomical illustration over the centuries, its role in art history and its influence in her work. She will also demonstrate the various paper mâché techniques she uses, and some of the history of paper mâché. Throughout the session we will spend hands-on time trying out these techniques and methods.

Saturday 1 November 11am-1.30pm.
