PAST EVENT: Friends Viewing of Works by Matt Hunt
PAST EVENT: Friends Viewing of Works by Matt Hunt
NZ-born artist Matt Hunt has had exhibitions in Sydney, Auckland and Wellington. His fantastic imagery depicts spiritual visions infused with religious concepts, conspiracy theories, comic books and Sci-Fi themes. Like the work of Hieronymus Bosch, his paintings reverberate with contemporary social and political themes as well as morality memes reflecting humanity's anxieties in the 21st century.
Come along and hear Matt talk about his latest extraordinary work currently showing at Social Gallery, 3 MacDonald Crescent. Following this, the group will take a short walk down Willis Street to Press Hall to view some of his earlier works, which are being exhibited in a satellite space.
