Developed and toured by the New Zealand Portrait Gallery, in collaboration with the Kate Sheppard House, “Jo Torr, Self Portrait: The Shape of a Lineage” explores identity, family, and how we remember the women who came before us, using textile sculptures to shape the visual identity of memory.
