In partnership with Dementia Wellington join us onsite at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery Te Pūkenga Whakaata for this inclusive and flexible program designed for people living with dementia. These sessions support self-expression, social inclusion, connection, and improved wellbeing through visual and intellectual stimulation in response to the engagement in art.
Facilitated by gallery educator Milly Hampton participants explore a different artistic medium each week, guided by techniques, artist models, and personal intuition. We conclude every session by sharing a morning tea together.
These sessions are free but bookings are required. No art experience needed! If you or someone you know is living with early stage dementia and might be interested please get in touch with Hester Paul PH: 0220328865 or E: hester.fletcherpaul@gmail.com
