New Zealand Portrait Gallery Te Pukenga Whakaata

Predator Free Wellington is making Pōneke the world’s first predator free capital city, a place where our native wildlife and communities can thrive. Are you keen to get involved? Come along learn more about Predator Free Wellington’s mahi (work) and make your own trapping tunnel to take home, pop outside and do your bit to help get rats out of our city! All materials provided.

This workshop is free to attend but spots are limited - book your ticket below. All tamariki (children) under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

This free event is part of Reclaimed Land: Tāngata, Tiriti, Taiao an exhibition which draws together work by artists who celebrate the work of caring for, and being a part of the environment.

Accessibility Information: The New Zealand Portrait Gallery is an accessible venue, all on one level. There is an accessible wharepaku at the back of the venue. The gallery has automatic sliding doors and glass doors that can be pushed or pulled to enter. We have a wheelchair available for use within the gallery, and there is low stool seating throughout.
