Curator Chriss McGregor has generously agreed to give a talk to the Friends of the NZ Portrait Gallery about the life and work of the women painters of Pumpkin Cottage in the late 1800s.

Date:  Thursday 12 October 2023

Time:  10:30 am - 11:30 am (approximately) 

Venue:  Whirinaki Whare Taonga (formerly Expressions Gallery), 838 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt   

Cost: $20 per person 

Transport:  Friends should make their own way to the venue by train, car or car-pooling.

We will provide details of the meeting place for participants to gather prior to the tour. Interested Friends may wish to have coffee or lunch in the Gallery cafe afterwards.

Please note that all net proceeds from Friends' activities are donated to the Gallery.
